Sunny Snowy January Wedding in Estes Park

Join us for Brittany and Donald Cinco’s bright January Wedding day. Their story began with a FaceTime call through mutual friends.  The call went well and the couple planned a double date where Donald proceeded to stand Brittany up. Despite Brittany’s reservations about Donald, she decided to give him a second chance where she quickly realized that he had boyfriend material.  The rest is history.

Donald asked for Brittany’s hand in marriage at a family thanksgiving gathering where he initiated a gratitude practice where he then invited the family to take a turn to say what they were thankful for. However, before they could begin, Donald asked everyone to head outside to see what he was most thankful for.  Brittany was completely surprised to find a petal lined aisle leading to a table set with pictures and the letters spelling, “Marry Me.” Donald got down on one knee and Brittany agreed to be his forever.

Brittany spent her childhood vacationing in Estes Park. Due to the fact that Donald is from California and Brittany is a Kansas native,  they decided to have a destination wedding. It was important that the location be a drivable distance from Kansas for Brittany’s grandmother who can no longer fly. Brittany dreamed of a winter wedding and Estes Park was the perfect choice.

Upon touring Taharaa, the couple absolutely fell in love and immediately made plans to book. The couple enjoyed the incredible views  along with the accommodations, and the quality of the food. It was very important to Brittany for the venue to be wheelchair accessible for her mother.  The overall inspiration for the day was winter wonderland and travel.

Brittany’s favorite memory from the wedding was dancing the night away with her close friends and family as they joined together to celebrate her love with her new husband. Donald’s favorite memory from the wedding was watching elk outside the land surrounding the lodge.  Brittany enjoyed the ease of the bridal suite as it was the perfect space for the bride and her girls.
