Back in September, Taylor and Rachel tied the knot at The St. Catherine of Siena Chapel followed by a reception with us at Taharaa. Their day was full of sunshine and smiling faces.
The couple met while touring a college campus. Taylor proposed at Yosemite National Park and the two share a mutual love for the outdoors. Estes Park just made sense for their big day as they both visited growing up. The two are from Nebraska and wanted a destination mountain wedding. They agreed that accessibility was important for family and friends to attend and Estes was the ideal spot.
Upon visiting Taharaa, they both fell in love with the location and all it had to offer. The couple appreciated that Taharaa had lodging with the unique feel of a boutique bed and breakfast. Both Rachel and Taylor enjoyed the ease of the onsite catering from the steakhouse and appreciated the responsiveness of the staff as they really made everyone feel special both leading up to and during the big day.

A Wedding Weekend at Taharaa Mountain Lodge
Estes Park was the optimal destination and allowed for their guests to enjoy a complete wedding weekend. Here at Taharaa Mountain Lodge, you can have your guests stay right on-site to make their stay easy and enjoyable! We have 18 rooms, and each accommodates 2 adults. We do require a three-night stay, but this will let your guests really enjoy Estes Park and our amenities at the Lodge. On-site we have an outdoor Hot Tub, and our restaurant, Twin Owls Steakhouse, has an award-winning chef!
Our location also allows guests to be able to choose various activities to enjoy during their time here, which will truly make their trip to the wedding even more memorable!
