Intimate Summer Wedding at Saint Catherine’s Chapel on the Rock

Amymarie and Sebastian’s wedding at Saint Catherine’s Chapel on the Rock was an intimate celebration. The couple met during their undergraduate program at the University of Connecticut through mutual friends. Thier love for each other grew, and Sebastian proposed in 2019 while they were canoeing on Lake Louise in Banff National Park. Luckily the ring didn’t fall into the lake!

After the proposal, the couple began planning their perfect wedding day! They decided to host their wedding in Estes Park because they love visiting National Parks and wanted to incorporate that into their wedding. Estes Park provided access to Rocky Mountain National Park while giving their families wonderful dining, entertainment, and lodging options. They decided to hold their wedding ceremony at Saint Catherine’s Chapel on the Rock. This was the perfect location for their beautiful ceremony.

They chose Taharaa Mountain Lodge for their reception because of its mountain charm, private outdoor area with stunning views, and reputable service and dining. They wanted the real focus of their wedding decor to be the stunning backdrop of the Rocky Mountains!

Aside from actually tying the knot, their favorite wedding day memory was the sunrise adventure session they did with their photographer in their wedding attire. It is such a unique experience to be out on the trail in a tuxedo and wedding dress, and we’re always so glad when our couples get the chance to do this! The photos always turn out so beautifully!
