Megan and Trevors’s Elegant Mountain Winter Wedding in Estes Park showcases a wonderful celebration of their love for the rustic beauty of mountains and moody elegant romance.

The two met when Trevor’s mom made sure Megan was the one to see her son during a visit to have a X-ray done. While timing for a relationship wasn’t right, a year later the two reconnected and the rest is history. Megan’s father passed away in September of 2020 making Christmas 2020 the first without him. Megan and Trevor made a visit to gravesite on Christmas Day. While there, Trevor got down on one knee and proposed. As the snow fell, Megan said yes and felt her dad there with them. Trevor shared that one of the last conversations he had with her dad before he passed was asking for his blessing to marry Megan making it even more impactful.

Megan grew up in Estes Park. It was also the first placed the two lived as a couple. They both enjoy the mountains so it just made sense to get celebrate their wedding day in the area. They agreed on wanting a rustic venue in the mountains with cozy vibes. Taharaa was the first and only venue they toured. As they began the planning process, their choice was validated with the many food, drink, bridal suite, and lodging options. The stunning mountain views sealed the deal.

Trevor picked out a rose gold ring for the engagement honoring Megan’s middle name – Rose. They chose to incorporate black as well. The lodge gave rustic, cozy, mountain feel paired with a moody, romantic vibe with the color palette and decor. A Wedding Weekend at Taharaa Mountain Lodge

Estes Park was the optimal destination and allowed for their guests to enjoy a complete wedding weekend. Here at Taharaa Mountain Lodge, you can have your guests stay right on-site to make their stay easy and enjoyable! We have 18 rooms, and each accommodates 2 adults. We do require a three-night stay, but this will let your guests really enjoy Estes Park and our amenities at the Lodge. On-site we have an outdoor Hot Tub, and our restaurant, Twin Owls Steakhouse, has an award-winning chef!

Our location also allows guests to be able to choose various activities to enjoy during their time here, which will truly make their trip to the wedding even more memorable!
